A looping lo-fi excerpt of felineterror's song 'r-s 5'. There is alot going on under the hood here, everything from an analog bass exciter, feeding into a audio rectifier, creating that unique bass tone. A highpass filter, feeding into a delay. And then a tape emulator, featuring frequency loss, tape degradation and wow'n'flutter. Other versions of this remix:. . Since my ears can't hear any frequencies above 14khz (please remember to wear ear defenders around loud machinery! thank you. <3), i can't hear tape hiss very clearly, and are afraid i might overdo the volume. Therefore i think its best to leave any tape hiss up to you, if you want any, there's plenty of recordings here on freesound, for example this one (cc-0). 120 bpm | original by felineterroruse this however you like!. Have fun, see you on the other side!.

Original drum sample recorded straight from an original vintage yamaha psr-36 digital synthetizer from 1988. Best quality you can find online. Also, some samples aren't half bad. Use creatively and add some fx's. No eq or fx. Just some denoising.

Stereo recording of the lp "dance hall of shame"a silent record released by virgin records protesting censorship in music. From the sleeve:"if there is one lesson to be learned through our history, it's that freedom of speech has inevitable risks. But the alternative is slavery of mind, in a society empty of thought. If we value the progress of music and expression, we must accept that there will be music we dislike and lyrics that offend. Our responsibility lies in promoting legitimate argument and persuasion. If we do more than this, overstep our bounds with labeling and censorship, then our unwillingness to accept the risk of freedom leaves only one future to our children: no thinking. No talking. No music. ".

My nightstand's lamp is an antique, it works electrically but also has a hole to use oil with it. This is the sound of me turning it off and on then unscrewing the cap on the hole. Could be used as interesting found-sound percussion, very similar to my oil drum sounds.

My grandma recently gifted me a music box that was given to her by her mother, but it unfortunately doesn't work right anymore. It starts and stops unnaturally and can't make a loop, it requires constantly turning the wind-up mechanism to continue playing. This is the 1st of 2 recordings of me trying to get it to play.

Created with a doepfer a-100 modular synthesizer sequenced by a korg sq-1 processed by a zoom multistomp ms-70cdr guitar multi-fx pedal, using the particle and hd reverb. Audio source is a self-resonating, modulated doepfer a-108 vcf8. The reverbs ran in series. The manual states that the particle reverb is based on the line6 m9 particle verb. Here's a video showing the setup: https://youtu. Be/5h-mblcybbo. It's always nice to hear what projects you use these sounds for. Let me know. ;-). I'm currently working on some musical ideas for a good friend's cartoon series and thought i'd upload this little experiment with an old vinyl of some mozart. I recorded the output of my deck and messed with the speed and pitch, as well reversing the audio and adding some distortion and other effects once it was in my daw. Sounds pretty creepy! if this proves popular i will upload some more of my "musical" experiments! enjoy!. My soundcloud: https://soundcloud. Com/mattcmusic.
